An agile biologist view on self-organization. What can nature teach us?
In nature you can see amazing coordination within groups of animals. We all know the images of giant schools of fish or maybe have seen the swarms of starlings that flock in fall.
None of these groups have a leader, they organize themselves by following simple rules. This is called self-organization. Something we agilists long for in our teams and departments.
This session I would like to share my knowledge on natural self-organization, give insight in what we might learn from nature and try and make you experience this phenomenon yourself.
